The legacy media frequently describes President Joe Biden as a “devout Catholic.” Still, he has yet to demonstrate it: He has a pathetic donation record to the church and certainly supports untamed abortion — at any stage of pregnancy and for any reason.
So, Biden’s Easter observance this year, the holiest day on the Christian calendar, should not be a surprise…but it is.
Last week, the White House gave its first hint when it announced the Easter activities. They included the traditional Easter egg decoration contest and Easter egg roll for the 2024 “Celebrating National Guard Families” art event.
Contestants included children of individuals serving in the National Guard, who were prohibited from submitting religiously based Easter egg designs.
Is this a joke? Easter is the celebration of Christ’s resurrection—the one event on which all Christianity is based.
But it got worse.
On March 29 — Good Friday — the day Jesus died on the cross — the White House proclaimed its official March 31 observance…not Easter Sunday, but:
“I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR. … do at this moment proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility. I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.”
RightGlockMom, a Michigan-based X/Twitter user, reminded Joe Biden that his proclamation was inappropriate.
She began: “Mr. President, March 31, 2024, is Easter Sunday — the day that DEFINES Christianity worldwide. Your proclamation intentionally insults us. We’ve seen enough ‘visibility’ by your Administration.”
U.S. actor James Woods was outraged as well, “This vile hypocrite banned any reference to Christ on the most holy of Christian holidays, but honors transvestites instead,” he tweeted.
“How is it possible the world has gone this mad, and it is simply shrugged off by millions on the lunatic left?” asked Woods.
The “lunatic left” was not finished. Democrat New York Governor Kathy Hochul ordered significant landmarks in New York to be lit up in blue, pink, and white to celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday.
The landmarks that lit up included the Empire State Plaza, the Lake Placid Olympic Center, the State Fairgrounds, the Kosciuszko Bridge, and even Niagara Falls.
Friday, Reuters issued a “fact check” suggesting conservatives should not be upset over Hochul and Biden proclaiming Easter Sunday as Transgender Day of Visibility because it happens every March 31, which occurred this year Easter Sunday.
The fact that “Transgender Day of Visibility” happened to fall on Easter Sunday this year is irrelevant.
Biden’s White House knew exactly what it was doing — they chose LGBTQ+ over Easter on purpose.
The Transgender Day of Visibility was established in 2009, at the beginning of the Obama administration. However, the White House first observed it in 2021, in Biden’s first year as president.
When Joe Biden ran for president in 2020, he said it would “restore decency to the White House.”
That is another campaign promise Biden broke and another reason the November 2024 election would be the most crucial in our lifetime.
Although the mainstream media often describes Biden as a “devout Catholic,” he never describes himself as that.
