Donald Trump Announces Plan to End All U.S. Sanctuary Cities

GOP presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump announced Saturday in Wilmington, N.C., that if he is elected, he would end all sanctuary cities in the U.S.

“I’m announcing a new plan to end all sanctuary cities in North Carolina and all across our country,” said Trump while referring to Dem challenger, VP Kamala Harris, as the “invasion president” if she is elected.

“As soon as I take office, we will immediately surge federal law enforcement to every city that is failing, which is a lot of them, to turn over criminal aliens,” said Trump. “And we will hunt down, capture every single gang member, drug dealer, rapist, murderer, and migrant criminal that is being illegally harbored.”

Trump said sanctuary cities are primarily run by Democrats.

“We will send them home where they belong,” said Trump. “I will ask Congress to pass a law outlawing sanctuary cities nationwide, and we will bring down the full weight of the federal government on any jurisdiction that refuses to cooperate with ICE.”

In the meantime, Harris “would be your country-destroying president,” claimed Trump. “[She] has allowed 21 million illegals to pour in from all over the world.”

“Literally at record levels, terrorists are pouring into our country… Kamala Harris will fly criminal migrants into every one of your cities and towns.”

However, Trump said he will “get every migrant criminal” out of the U.S. fast.

“Kamala Harris’ border invasion is also crushing the jobs and wages of African-American workers and Hispanic-American workers, and also union members,” Trump said. “Unions are next … every job produced in this country over the last two years has gone to illegal aliens.”

The former president also spoke out about the presence of Venezuelan gang members in Aurora, Colorado, and claimed that Democrat Governor Jared Polis is “so scared” of the violence.

“Maybe you can’t blame him,” said Trump. “They’re young, they’re tough, nasty people, and they got a lot of them.”

VP Harris also supports free healthcare for illegal migrants, meaning citizens are having difficulty getting care because “hospitals and emergency rooms are being overrun by migrants,” Trump claimed.

“Think of this. She lost 325,000 migrant children,” Trump added. “They’re gone. They’re gone. Many are dead. Many are just kidnapped. Many are working in slavery.”

The event was the first outdoor rally since September 15, when authorities foiled a second attempted assassination on the GOP presidential nominee’s life.

Speaking for a little more than an hour in North Carolina, a high-stakes swing state, Trump slammed the Biden-Harris administration and claimed it would be the end of American democracy if Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris won the election in November.

Trump rejected second debate with Harris

Trump also rejected another debate with Vice President Harris, who said earlier in the day that she had accepted CNN’s invitation for an October 23 debate.

The former president claimed Harris only wants to debate him because she’s “losing” the race — although the polls show it is almost deadlocked — and early voting has already started.

“She’s done one debate. I’ve done two,” Trump said, referring to his prior face-off with President Joe Biden.

Trump’s appearance in the Tar Heel state was also his first since an explosive Republican report accusing Mark Robinson, the state’s GOP gubernatorial nominee, of calling himself a black Nazi and proposing to bring back slavery in a forum online years ago.

The state’s lieutenant governor, Robinson, has denied the allegations and stated he will remain in the race for governor.

Trump didn’t mention Robinson during Saturday’s rally, and Robinson didn’t attend the rally.

However, Trump’s campaign told the New York Post it plans to continue backing North Carolina’s full Republican ticket, including Robinson.
