GOP presidential nominee former President Donald Trump returned to Georgia Saturday, only days after Vice President Kamala Harris had a rally in the same Georgia State University basketball arena in Atlanta.
“The choice of this election could not be more stark,” said Trump to the crowd in his speech. “On the one hand, you have a radical-left freak. You have a candidate who is fake, fake, fake. On the other hand, you have a president who will fight, fight, fight for the American people.”
Trump’s defiant rise to his feet on July 13 after an assassination attempt turned the chant of “fight, fight, fight” into the campaign slogan at the following week’s Republican National Convention.
The former president opened by warning Georgia about Harris’s economic policies and his carrying the torch for what he considers the failed Biden-Harris administration.
“If Kamala wins this election, you’re going to have a Kamala economic crash,” said Trump.
Trump said the “American dream” will return if he is victorious.
“These people are grossly incompetent,” said Trump.
The former president warned America that Biden-Harris is skipping over socialism and taking our government “straight to communism” with her far-left California policies.
“The train never stopped on the socialism world,” said Trump, reminding his supporters he has predicted the United States “would not become a socialist country.”
Former President Trump asked if President Joe Biden would watch VP Harris accept the Democrat Party’s nomination at the Democratic National Convention.
“They took away his presidency,” said Trump.
Trump additionally hit Harris on some of her recent verbal stumbles.
“She can’t even talk,” said Trump. “Did you see? We just went through four years. Let’s not go through another four years.”
Trump highlighted data that showed Harris as the most liberal senator
Donald Trump doubled down on the campaign and emphasized data that reported Kamala Harris’ Senate voting record as the most liberal senator.
“She’s worse than Biden,” said Trump. “She’s worse than Bernie Sanders. She’s to the left of Bernie Sanders. She’s Bernie Sanders, but not as smart.”
Trump also returned to touting his first presidential debate victory against President Joe Biden and said he effectively ended one general election opponent before the Democrats flipped to Harris.
“I made him choke,” said Trump. “Don’t kid yourself. He was choking like a dog, and that was the end of him.”
The former president congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin for making a “great deal” for the hostages with Joe Biden’s administration earlier in the week.
“We got our people back, but boy, did we make some horrible, horrible deals,” said Trump.
Before Trump took the stage, GOP Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio prepped the crowd with targeted arguments against the failures of Harris in the White House and specifically as the Biden administration’s designee to deal with illegal immigration’s root causes.
Evan Gershkovic, a reporter for The Wall Street Journal, would have probably never been taken hostage during a Trump administration, said Vance in an interview with Newsmax earlier in the evening.
“Some would never been taken hostage if Trump had been president,” said Vance. “Strong leadership gets you better deals and fewer people taken hostage.”
When Vance was asked about the recent Venezuelan election in which Nicolas Maduro claimed victory, Vance said Harris has “failed to do her damn job” and handed the Maduro regime a “sweetheart deal.”
“It’s just another example of people taking advantage of her weak leadership,” said Vance.
“She owns every one of Biden’s failures. We have to make the race about if you give her a promotion, she’s going to double down on some of the most left-wing policies.”
