Republicans Must Use Mandate to Rescue Freedom, Reverse Damage

When former Vice President Dick Cheney, along with his daughter, former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, endorsed VP Kamala Harris, it became blatant that most of the GOP establishment is the Democratic Party’s establishment. The Democratic Party’s establishment is the same establishment as the Republican Party.

I believe President-elect Donald Trump won the election party because most Americans realized the greatest threat to our liberties today is the fascism from the political elite.

Since 9/11, this elite class has agreed on many policies, which have made fascism’s emergence more likely: weakening civil liberties, engaging in cancel culture, permanent wars, colluding with social media companies to suppress information, inflation, and expanding dependency on welfare.

Fascism will only come to the United States when the most influential representatives of both Big Business and Big Government combine their efforts. In the 2024 presidential campaign, the majority of the most powerful and wealthiest Americans supported VP Harris’s campaign.

From January 2023 to October 2024, Joe Biden’s and later Harris’s campaigns raised almost $1 billion, while Trump’s campaign raised only 388 million over the same period.

When you combine millions of people’s wokeness, they can bring about woke fascism unless enough America-loving people stop them. Liberal Rainbow fascism is what it is — when progressives use fascist tactics to fight fascism allegedly.

Winning an election isn’t enough. As Scott Faulkner, President Reagan’s Director of Personnel, once wrote:

“The Reagan Revolution happened by design, not by chance. It happened because legions of loyalists came to Washington to make a difference. The question of who among the current Republican presidential field can deliver real results beyond Election Day rests upon the willingness of each candidate to plan ahead for the critical task of transition.”

During his first term, Donald Trump filled his administration with many longtime Washington veterans. This time, it is crucial that he fills his administration and Congress’s leadership with the right people.

The first Congressional battle is likely to happen this week in the House Foreign Affairs Committee. GOP Representative Joe Wilson of South Carolina is one of the leading contenders for the next Chairman position.

Rep. Wilson has more than 20 years of experience in Congress and a lengthy history of working with Trump. In January 2023, Wilson joined Trump’s South Carolina campaign when many in the GOP didn’t believe he could win.

He serves on both the Armed Services Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee. At Foreign Affairs, he is also the Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.

The combination of committee assignments has the potential to substantially advance our national interests. For example, the representative authored the U.S.-Israel Future of Warfare Act.

This law established a fund for both countries to work together to develop technology to tackle emerging threats.

“It is critical that we collaborate and develop joint defense technologies to ensure we are on the cutting edge of research and development,” said Wilson recently.

With wars in the Middle East and in Ukraine, we need more Congressional members who have served in the military. Joe Wilson served 28 years in the U.S. Army Reserve and three years in the South Carolina National Guard.

Americans have given President Donald Trump another opportunity because they are against the recent failures of both political parties. These disasters — Afghanistan, Iraq, Covid-19, and the 2008 financial crisis) have expanded the government’s power and reduced the people’s power. Republicans cannot let Americans down. They must use their mandate to reverse the damage and preserve freedom.
