“Very Big Announcement”: Trump Says He Will Make a ‘Big Announcement’ on November 15

Former President Donald Trump is teasing a major announcement on November 15, which could signal a decision on a possible presidential run in 2024.

“Two years ago, we were a great nation, and we will be a great nation again. Not to detract from tomorrow’s very important, even critical election… I’m going to be making a very big announcement on Tuesday, November 15, at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach,” said Trump.

Over the past year, Trump has hinted that he is interested in a third run for the White House as he appears poised to make the announcement.

Trump refrained from taking a swing at other Republicans at a recent event and didn’t repeat his nickname for Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, “Ron DeSanctimonious,” as he did recently. Instead, he endorsed DeSantis’ reelection. Instead, Trump spent time blasting Ohio Democrat Senate candidate Representative Tim Ryan while touting his opponent, JD Vance.

The former president hammered away at the same points other Republicans have emphasized, including immigration, crime, and inflation. “Inflation should have never happened,” said Trump to a boisterous crowd. “Forget about buying a turkey for Thanksgiving. Has anybody bought a turkey yet for Thanksgiving? Because if you haven’t, don’t even waste your time.”

“Number one, you probably won’t get it. And if you do, you’re going to pay approximately three times for you than you did,” added Trump. “Under the radical left Democrats, the streets of our cities are ruled by bloodthirsty gangs and violent criminals,” said the former president. He emphasized other countries’ “quick trials” for drug dealers.

“Instead of doubling the number of IRS agents, we should double the number of ICE and Border Patrol agents,” said Trump.

Trump focused on critical races to offer support during the midterms

Former President Trump was heavily involved in the midterm elections, endorsing and supporting Republican candidates across the country. During the primary season, most candidates endorsed by the former president won their elections, becoming the GOP candidate leading up to the midterm elections.

The former president also slammed Bill Barr, former Attorney General, for not supporting his claims that the 2020 election was ‘stolen’ and criticized his former Vice President, Mike Pence, for not rejecting electoral votes. He also expressed his disgust over “impeachment hoax number one” and “impeachment hoax number two” and complained about various civil and criminal investigations into him.

His speech could set the stage for Trump’s big announcement and would allow him to take some credit for a possible big Election Day for Republicans. “This is the year we’re going to take back the House. We’re going to take back the Senate. And we’re going to take back America. And in 2024, most importantly, we are going to take back our magnificent White House,” said Trump.
